Critical Thinking and Clinical Reasoning in the Health Sciences: An International Multidisciplinary Teaching Anthology (Facione & Facione, 2008) is a collection of best practice teaching and learning strategies aimed at improving critical thinking in health science students and practitioners. The book was reviewed for the American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education (2009) by Dr. Robert Cisneros in the School of Pharmacy at Campbell University.

Cisneros says, “Most lessons in this book can be related to pharmacy education with little difficulty. The different lessons and activities provide useful ideas to consider for adoption.”  He describes the book as “particularly appealing to the pharmacy faculty member who is interested in enhancing student critical thinking skills and who is not reluctant to consider utilizing new or different successful educational strategies.”
