The Quant-Q

The Quant-Q targets reasoning skills in relation to quantitative problems. The math skills required for this instrument are very basic; the problems are designed to measure one's ability to think "outside of the box" when solving quantitative problems; the items on the Quant Q require a complex integration of critical thinking skills and quantitative reasoning abilities.

The Quant-Q is designed for use in a 30 minute time frame.

IA Continuing Research: In our ongoing effort to collect criterion-validation data, additional correlates, and norm data Insight Assessment is offering deeply discounted, and in some cases, free use of the Quant-Q in exchange for specific kinds of data gathered by competent and qualified assessment specialists and researchers in well-designed studies.

Standardization data for Norms
Institutions and individuals that will administer the Quant-Q to at least 100 individuals within the appropriate target population are eligible for substantial discounts in return for providing their data to Insight Assessment for purposes of developing Quant-Q norm data. Proposals should include provision for providing relevant demographic information as described below.

Correlation data between the Quant-Q and other recognized tests
Institutions and individuals that will administer the Quant-Q as well as another recognized assessment instrument offered by a publisher other than Insight Assessment are eligible for substantial discounts in return for providing their data to Insight Assessment for purposes of correlational research. Groups that provide large samples (over 250) as well as correlational data are eligible for larger discounts. Proposals should include provision for providing relevant demographic information as described below.

Free use of Quant-Q with other Insight Assessment assessment tools
Insight Assessment is accepting proposals for correlational research involving the Quant-Q and one or more other assessment tool publish by Insight Assessment. In some cases Insight Assessment would be prepared to make the Quant-Q available for use free of charge.

Demographic Information
Insight Assessment will consider proposals that exhibit sound research and data gathering methodology. Demographic information should include, at a minimum, data concerning the gender, age/grade-level, and ethnicity of participants. A socioeconomic categorization by individual is requested when available. At a minimum, Insight Assessment requires a general socioeconomic description of the population of individuals tested.
