Prospective Authors
The
California Academic Press, LLC, does business under the name of
Insight Assessment. Our primary business is the publication, distribution,
and scoring of tests. Occasionally we publish and distribute books
and other materials.
Prospective authors are invited to submit a prospectus, sample
materials, and supporting documentation for consideration to the
Managing Editor, Insight Assessment/California Academic Press
LLC, 217 La Cruz Ave., Millbrae, CA 94030. Include a self-addressed
stamped returned envelope with your submission, or materials will
not be returned. Allow ten weeks for an initial editorial response.
Although we will not knowingly publish tests, books, or other
materials which we are invalid, unreliable, or infringements on
the copyrights of others, authors are solely responsible for the
validity, reliability of tests proposed for publication and for
having the legal right, including copyright clearances if necessary,
to offer for publication all of the materials submitted.

wide are reserved. User acknowledges that these materials and computer-based
test and survey software and the testing or survey content delivered
by means of this software is protected by copyright law and international
treaties. User agrees that reproduction or distribution of any part
of this e-testing software or any test or survey delivered or made
visible in any media by means of this software, or any question
or answer, or any part thereof, is a violation of said copyright
or copyrights may result in severe civil and criminal penalties,
and will be prosecuted to the maximum extent possible under the
law.
Insight
Assessment is a distributor of tests and surveys. As such, Insight
Assessment is committed to deliver the tests or surveys its clients
have assigned to their test-takers in an accurate and timely manner.
Insight Assessment is also committed to providing for its clients
accurate test scores, survey results, and reports of such demographic
information as is entered by test-takers in response to the questions
on their assigned tests or surveys which those clients have contracted
with Insight Assessment to deliver. Insight Assessment is not responsible
for verifying the accuracy of demographic or other information as
entered by test-takers. Clients and test-takers are solely responsible
for the interpretation and use of test scores, survey results, demographic
information, or related descriptive information or statistical analyses
as may be gathered, displayed, downloaded, or otherwise generated
by Insight Assessment. User clients and user test-takers agree to
hold Insight Assessment its officers and staff members individually
and jointly harmless of any liability or responsibility, financial,
personal, or otherwise, for the use or the misuse of any Insight
Assessment gathered, displayed, downloaded, or otherwise generated
test scores, survey results, demographic information, or related
descriptive information.
