Problem Solving and Technology in STEM Class
Lahainaluna High School reports that their STEM initiative is the result of a dynamic collaboration between business and education, using computer technology in service projects designed to improve students' critical thinking and problem solving. "STEM is a project-based class that integrates computer technology into the traditional high school setting. STEM is about using technology as a starting point in the development of its relevant goal: creative, open minded, innovative problem-solving students. STEM students work in teams to solve real world problems in their schools and communities."
