Missouri Freshmen Learn CT By Studying Art

Professor William Hooper at Southwest Baptist University has long been a proponent of teaching critical thinking through the fine arts. He taught a freshmen course focusing on the development of critical thinking skills through the study of Art from across the ages. Students practice critical thinking skills as they grow in their appreciation of diverse cultural expression. Teaching Critical Thinking in the Fine Arts, Journal of General Education, Vol. 45, 1996.
