How can I use pretest-posttest assessment data?
With a well designed pre-post test program, data can be used to follow a targeted group of students or track the overall growth of cohorts of students to assess the long term and/or short term impact of curriculum and programs.
- Evaluate curriculum for the achievement of critical thinking as a learning outcome in classroom educational programs and in student life.
- Measure the impact of a single course, a new pedagogy, a new program of study
- Test at the beginning and end of designated critical thinking courses to assess the contribution of focused course work in critical thinking.

- Fine tune an existing curriculum or program to meet newly designated learning outcomes
