Notice: A prospective client must assure Insight Assessment that by purchasing measurement tools the user/purchaser agrees that:

• Provisions will be made to guarantee test security. All copies of measurement tools will be kept in secure locations before and after testing. 
• Damaged or unusable test instruments will be shredded or disposed of in ways that do not compromise instrument security. 
• Copyrights will not be violated; no copies of the test, in whole or in part, will be made. No test questions will be duplicated or distributed or published in any way that has the potential to compromise the security of the testing instrument.
• Neither the tests nor the test results are sold or made available for sale. 
• Tests will be administered in accord with the procedures specified in their User Manuals. 
• Test data will be analyzed and interpreted in accord with the test's User Manual. 
• If the test data to be used have been purchased from or collected by some other Insight Assessment client, evidence will be provided that the original client has granted permission for said use. 
• Test data interpretation and use is the sole responsibility of the client and end-user.
• Tests and test results will be used in accord with accepted ethical standards for testing.

Notice: Due to the significance of test security, Insight Assessment reserves the right to discontinue services or decline purchase requests in the event that there is reason to be concerned that doing otherwise would compromise the security of any of its measurement tools.

Notice: Insight Assessment materials are protected by international copyrights. Tests, test questions, test items, answer options, or answer forms may not be duplicated, copied or reproduced in whole or in part in paper or electronically or by any means without the prior written consent and agreement of the copyright holders, author(s) and publisher. Tests and test items may not be posted on either the public or any internal Internet. All tests are scored by Insight Assessment only. Do not duplicate answer forms; duplicated answer forms will not be scored. Answer forms are date stamped; test scoring service expires two years from the date of purchase as indicated by the date code on the CapScore answer form. Unused prepaid on-line test usages expire two years from the date of purchase as indicated by the date on the purchase invoice. Buyer agrees to insure the security of testing instruments, not to publish in any way any testing instrument in whole or in part, and to protect and defend copyright as indicated on materials purchased. Buyer understands that scales structures and item responses are not reported. By purchasing tests or testing services buyer certifies that he/she has read, understands and accepts the notices, advisories and the purchaser requirements as indicated at the Insight Assessment website. All sales are final.Testing materials are not returnable.Only Insight Assessment approved and authorized translations may be used. Notice: Decisions about how to accommodate test takers with documented disabilities are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Insight Assessment is not aware of any limitation in the accommodations required for disabilities and should be notified should the purchaser discover any. Suggested strategies for the accommodations of test takers with disabilities include, but are not limited to allowing the test taker additional time to complete the test and reading test questions to the test taker.  If a reader is used, the reader should not attempt to interpret, explain, or clarify test items. To the extent that the documented disability involves cognitive processes needed for problem analysis and problem solving, there is no appropriate accommodation as the tests themselves are designed to be a measure of relative performance in this regard. The accommodation of individuals with disabilities does not relieve the customer of the terms and conditions in the sales contract relating to the security of testing instruments: no duplication, capture, copying, digitalization, capture of test items as part of an accommodation nor administration of the test through software programs that are not a part of the Insight Assessment testing systems is permitted.  No tests may be transferred to other file forms or modalities.

Notice: Dissertation Advisors / Committee Review or IRB Committee Review -- When either a doctoral advisor / committee or an IRB committee is reviewing a student's dissertation proposal or an independent scholar's research proposal, it is reasonable for the committee members to want to review the items in any surveys that will be given to the study participants. Therefore we do permit providing these committee members with a copy of the testing tool as long as they are cautioned about the protected nature of the instrument and are asked to assure that the instrument is not more widely distributed, and that they will either to return the copies to you or destroy them after the review process is completed. Doctoral students should also tell these committees that they must approve the instrument in its totality, as there is no possibility of editing or deleting individual questions or test items.

Notice: When filing a dissertation: It is not permitted to file a copy of the CCTDI along with the dissertation unless the library will assure, in writing and under signature of the library director, that they will not distribute this copy as a part of the dissertation (not by digital scan nor by hard copy) even if it is requested by other scholars. To include one of our testing instruments or any of the items it contains in a copy of a dissertation which is then distributed to a third party is both a violation of copyright and a violation of the contractual agreement for protection of the instrument that is assumed by the user at purchase.
